what is the top speed of a440ex with 11-1 piston,stage 2 hot cam?
im installing kit this weekend.

 

Top speed has alot to do with gearing,and wind drag. Not nessessarely how much HP you have. The 440 will give you 5-7 more hp(peak) so I would guess it would allow you to go 1 matbe 2 teeth taller on your counter sprocket, gi=ving you 10-15 more mph.

Thats a guesstimate!

thanks ,iam also getting a new rev limiter which is supposed to rev another 1000 rpm

 

remember horsepower is in the porting.A good port job will get you more than 5-7hp

I have been paced at about 75 hitting the rev limiter at 10500 rpm

 

I have a 440ex with a doug eichner carb stage 2 cam full lrd exhaust and It will rev with lots of power and when I let off the throttle it spits and sputters what would cause that Ive tried everythinh

 

sounds like its runnin lean
