For all you people saying that a motorcycle engine in a quad frame will beat any banshee,at our track (300ft)there is a gsx-r 750 in a drag frame and turbocharged putting out 240 hp to the rear wheels, and its best time is a 4.01. There are a couple 350 banshees 4unning 4.0 and 4.1, and big banshees are going as fast as 3.7 or maybe faster. So build a big banshee, and learn to ride it good.

A lot of that can be just in poor setup. Horsepower doesnt mean much if it cant be put to the ground effectively.

thats very true, it isnt set up as good as it could be. But that proves to these other people saying that a high horsepower motor in a quad frame will beat anything that it has to be setup well.

unfortunantly its just the guy with the most money (I.E. chassis setup) will run the best times

Very, very true, I got beat by two banshee's running 1/2 the horsepower than me. Only due to they were launching harder due to my tire spin and wheelie. Once I get that fixed I should overcome. But just because you have double horse or whatever doesn't mean you can stomp a lesser powered quad.

You ca drop a snowmobile motor in a quad frame
very easily and inexpensively, and they are very quick !!
Our track record on dirt is held by a ZR900 in a 3 wheeler frame 3.7sec.
that's 300ft of sand at 94mph !!
