If it is the drain and not the overflow it should be just a screw that you tighten down to stop it from draining. Maybe an o-ring or washer fell off of that screw?

Sounds like the float valve is not seating properly; maybe you loosened a bit of trash that's preventing the float valve from seating, or maybe you bent the float tang where it can't close the valve.

I'd check: 1) Float valve and seat for squeaky-cleanness; and 2) Float height.

(I'm assuming you tightened the dump tube valve screw.)

There's an article on Keihin CV carburetor maintenance in "Tech Tips," accessible from the ATV Connection home page, possibly containing some information useful to you. Also, you can look at an exploded parts diagram of your carburetor in the parts catalog section of www.buykawasaki.com. Good luck!

If it was the overflow wouldn't the gas becoming out at the tob of the bowl; he said it was coming out of the bottom of the carb. Although, it is about 1 billion times more likely that the leaking gas is float related as opposed to the drain screw.
