I have a 40mm Lectron with dual powerjets on my R. I also run an ESR fuel pump.

Call Dennis Packard and get a 40mm lectron, you won't be dissappointed. The carb will run you around $300 and a pump will be around $30.Just tell him what kind of bike you have.

Sorry Im being so worrysome about this Cedric, just wanna make the rite decision here. HPD dosnt run alky, but he told me to talk to FTZ and Gast. Ftz said Lectron no good, but hes sellin a converted 38tmx so... Havent talked to Gast yet. Im pretty sure im going with a Lectron from Packard, and he says either the 40 or the 44 wud be fine. Ive had about 3 polaris guys say 40 and 3 say 44. So im still undecided, Gonna try Gast again today, and maybe CPI.

Oh yeah, running 400ft, dirt, flat. see sig
Thanks to all!

I originally bought my carb from Gast.I could not get it right, then someone told me to send it to Packard.I sent it and got it back in a week and it was a 1/4 turn out from being on the money.Myself and Polarisfreak both run the Packard carb.I just don't see the added benefit of going to the 44 unless you have the bigger reed cage. For the money and the ease of tuning,it is hard to beat the 40 Lectron.Good luck with your decision.

40mm lectron all the way, easy to tune and you can use stock intake boot! Definately want one that's been done by packard like Ced was saying.
