Fatty Pipe Problem

I got a FMF Fatty pipe ands it syas to file 10 thousanths off of the ring, How do I do this or does it matter if I do it or not?

clamp it in a vice with the open end on top and open enough to slide a small fine cutting file between. remove only enough so the ring will fit inside the pipe end without forcing. You could also grind down with a die grinder but be careful because you won't be removing that much. make sure you file the end square so the ends of the rings but up nicely.

Hey Kybol; Based on the last posting, I only had to file about .005 to .008" off before it fit nicely. This also eliminated the rubbing problem on the right front a arm mount.
