I love it! I ride my utility bikes like they are "go anywhere sport bikes". I have little use for those heavy racks. Losing them would lighten up my machines by 50 lbs.! We have little mud here, so I can lose those huge fenders too. And nerf bars.....cool! (Only problem I can see is the nerfs might get hung up in rocky technical terrain?)

Utility bikes show way to much of their "farm work tractor" heritage. It is about time we sportied-up these machines! Can you give us the details of your mods??? You have inspired me to trim the fat off my Ranchers!

 

Unfortunately many utility quads use the front racks as support for the shock towers, and removing them severely weakens the machine and suspension. So you just need to be careful when removing parts from utility quads, just because you arent using it doesnt mean the quad isnt.

oh man...you just made me wanna do that to my Eiger...i have been toying with the idea of modding it, and chrome and powdercoat....i think you just sold me on doing it...thanks alot....man i hate hondas but i love that thing

ninjadude, This bike is so custom its not even funny and it is for sale. Fischers Honda Cycle in Saybrook ohio built it, as far as what cam specs were used Im not sure I just know it was custom. The piston is off a 400ex and im not sure what stroker kit is in it. These guys out at fischers are so innovated its not even funny. This exact bike trevor rockwell raced in gncc x-country and placed second two years ago. This was going against prairies, rincon, 700 hos, grizzs and it smoked all these bike.

But unfortunatly I have a new rincon to pay for so the rancher is for sale

 

Pat89, I checked out a lot of stuff from highlifter. Unfortunatly I know about a dozen peeps that have bought stuff from there and that was not all that cracked up to be. ie...Disc brakes dont line up correctly, stoker kit runs too hot, gearless lockers malfunction, unlockers lock whenever they want to and unlock sometimes. There has been a lot of people who swear but highlifter. Also note that there are some people who swear by Polaris
