does anyone no if or when ktm will build a sports quad i think its about time they keep up with the times

 

Welcome to the forum revoraptor. I havnt heard of any plans. I think they sell plenty of dirt bikes to keep them happy. It would be cool, but may be too high of maintainence for most quad riders to deal with. Why does KTM need to sell a quad to keep up with the times?

 

i don't known if it true,but i heard polaris is buying 24% of ktm
factory,so expect to see them share their engine and frame along
to produce a real screamer in the future.

ktm has had a couple job listings on their web site for atv chassis people.i doubt they are wanting to hire a chassis engineer without plans of producing a quad

remember KTM only builds what they race...so you will hear about it when they begin testing a finished product

nowing KTM I'd guess they will produce a quad with either a 450sx or 525 motor in it

From the sounds of the "purchase agreement" KTM will be shoving engines into Polaris atvs. I would expect a 525 powered Pred probably branded as a Polaris here and KTM outside the US.

 

i think ktm will build a ktm quad,with very little,if any polaris in it,one rumor was someone contacted ktm to use their motors and ktm declined,this leads me to think that company may have been polaris and the 24% may get them the motors,along with some technology swapping,but in the agreement after a few years ktm will beable to buy back its shares.time will tell

 

Reading all this, does this mean there might be a quad in MWQ's future[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
