I know your all probably getting sick and tired of hearing everyone ask how to jet and I just another one of those people. I get everything else on the quad and can fix and align and measure everything, but I never touched the carb and am afraid too. I need to know proper jetting. I am running a 146. I have A powercore-4 pipe, K&N Filter, no engine work, Dynojet kit,and ride in Wisconsin, but my airbox lid is on, and I realize that its a waste of power so I took it off but noticed that I actually lost power. So i know that I have to rejet some how so I can ride with it off. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If you increase the air flow by adding an aftermarket pipe and particularly removing the airbox lid, you must richen the jetting. The pipe is probably good for 1-3 sizes larger and without the airbox lid 4-5. It is my understanding that Dynojet sizes do not match the Keihn sizes, so you should refer to the documentation that came with your jets. With a pipe and no airbox lid I used to run a 165 or even 170 Keihn jet at sea-level.

I run a Uni filter or K&N, have two large holes in the air box lid, and a Big Gun exhaust. I run a 155 main and went down a notch on the needle clip. Works for me!
