What are the dis/advantages of a twist throttle for MX,Dunes,XC, etc. What is the best brand. This is for a 400EX.

 

Personal preference is the only issue. Whatever you like better. Personally, I like twisters.

 

At first I hated my Twist throttle, Now I would never go back!

Magura & Motion Pro are the two leading ones. I had a Magura on my first quad. The nice thing about the Magura was the two position spool which allowed two degrees of rotation, one for enduro or XC, and another for MX.

 

stay with the thumber i just changed back it takes forever to get use to and even when you do you still lose some levels of control why do you think those things are so cool ok so they look trick so would gold brake pad but i don t think they would hold up long

i think it is all what you want. all the pros use them but it will not make your quad faster (only you) if your thumb jets sore very much for the rides you take them the twist might be for you.
