Default help on setting my shocks.

i was wondering what would be the best kind of settings for my atv. i got a 05' raptor 350, i weigh about 210 and i was wondering if i should set it a little softer. the back one is fine but if i soften up the front will i get better handling? the stock settings are good and work well but i was just wondering if my raptor would be better with softer settings.

the stock settings should be the softest settings. It won't hurt anything to experiment with different settings though. I change my settings frequently depending on if i'm trail riding, riding in fields and flat track, or jumping and riding mx tracks.

Default help on setting my shocks.

I have an 05 Raptor 350 Also and am 6' 210. I found for me setting the front to full soft and then just adjusting the back down about a 1/4 of an inch after checking the pre load. I am new and had to do alot of research on shock setup to get an understanding. I do some jumping, trail riding and run alot of woops and this seems to be stable. Not enough info is given on shock settings. Compression and rebound is important. I find our shocks on the 350 are a little stiff. I will probably upgrade later.

Here is a link to a good article online for shock adjustment. Shock Adjustment Info
