3M makes a Scotchbrite wheel that mounts in a bench grinder or buffer and other accessories that will remove paint and grunge in a hurry without leaving a rough surface. You can normally go straight to a cotton buff with white jewlers rouge or with a knifemaker's green compound ( Chromium oxide ) if you can find it. Check a machinist supply or a tool supply catalog for the Scotchbrite.

Hey I looked at my DirtWheels. It had one nice banshee in it. It listed all the parts. It had all the Cascade Chrome side casses. But the cylinders and the right side (where you put in oil)was really shiny to and it looked like the stock case.

The cylinders were REALLY shiny like Chrome.
If I did this would I have the same outcome???? I hope so?

Thanks for any help.
