i just bought a twist throttle conversion for my 05 polaris predator 500(the troy lee special edition) and when i started takin stuff apart it looked like on the stock thumb throttle theres a throttle position sensor or something. does anybody know what this is and what i can do to get around it??? thanks im new to the forum so anything helps.

My buddy at work ran into the same trouble with his Yamaha Banshee 350.....He had so many safty and cable adjustments.......Tried all different set-ups......Finally sent it back and put the factory one back on................Before I got a chance to help him or even see it............He said no matter what he did he could not even get it to idle right!!!!!!....Good Luck...Caper...........
I think it is called TOPS...Throttle override position sensor............

 

A friend of mine has a blaster and it functions as a kill switch.
