warrior silencer

Default warrior silencer

i am wanting to buy a slip on silencer for my 2000 warrior but i dont know what to do. do all i have to do is take off the stock silencer and slip the new one on or do i have to buy the exhaust from the motor back then put on the silencer

no all you will have to do is pull off the stock silencer and install the new slip on.

no you would really have to improve flow a lot to need a different mid pipe(or have your rust out on you)

the mid pipe if fine. i thought you have to buy a longer mid pipe bc the stock silencer is larger

You will also have to rejet the carb if you want any real power gain. To get maximum power you need the air/fuel ratio at a certain point. When you allow more airflow with the exhaust, you also need to put in a bigger jet and get more gas into the engine. Aside from not getting a power gain, running too lean can also cause engine damage because of the excessive heat.
