Who is the best 2 stroke engine builder?

From my experience, curtis does build one of the fastest motors around. That is if you are willing to wait for 9-14 months! Seriously, it takes that long! I really dont think it is worth the wait, there really isnt a big difference in what these guys are doing. But the guys who have curtises jugs, wouldnt think of running anything else. Just make sure you have a complete kit as was mentioned. A properly matched and tuned engine is the key. I have delt with LRD, CT, Sparks, Duncan, C&O, And Port Magic. All are capable of building fine engines.

Bill left Kawi on good terms. The reason came down to not being able to come to an agreement on some portions of the contract they were wanting him to sign.
As for Curtis and Kims motors. Like I said, I am not completely sure on Curtis, he may be on a Moto-fast motor. I don't really know him that well. As for Kim, he still does use some Moto-fast stuff. I think he was doing more experimenting that anything. I have no idea what his plans are for next year.

I'm hesitant to say right now because I know Kawi has not made an official press release. All I am willing to say right now is that Kawi will be back as a factory backed team for the 2000 GNCC series. The guy that will be riding the bike did finish in the top ten last year and is very well liked by most everyone else I know who rides the series. As a matter of fact he has already picked the bike up and started testing it. We all went riding together last weekend. Its not that I don't want to say but you never know who is reading these messages and I don't want to take a chance on causing him or Kawi any trouble. As soon as I know for sure that it is OK to let the cat out of the bag I will be sure to let you know.

Your correct. Bill will be back on a Lonestar chassis with an LRD 295 big bore for 2000. LRD will also be providing a 295 big bore motor for #7 Bradley Page who will be on a Roll Design backed chassis. We have been tuning and practicing for the last couple of weeks and these two guys are going to be tough this year.
