the ron woods intake does look good. didnt realize they made there own downtube. but when i go to king of the hill comps all i see is bikes that win have fci intakes. on ron woods they say 3hp over any other intake. that is a str8 lie i will tell you that the fci is very very close most likely more hp than the rw. i know on my raptor 700 fci is saying if my intake does not make more hp than any other intake on the market i will buy it back from you.

Well I will agree that it looks like a good design. I just don't think they have the money for R&D that a company like HMF has. But then again I guess that could be a good thing, maybe Woods concentrates more on making power then making money. We need dyno results! Sorry If I came off like an ***, it's just that some many people talk about stuff without having any clue (just go look in the turbocharged predator topic underneath this one) looks like you have one heck of a YFZ however.

i think the fci looks like better design. useing a plastic downtube has its advantages. like you can put the excact bend you want. with the metal tube you cant get it to make bends like plastic because you can mold plastic.

you shouldnt have to bend anything, if you buy that fci intake for the 200 they are asking for it, it should bolt right on you should have to bend anything.. the ron wood comes pre-bent to fit perfect. i dontknow about you guys but al least check it out. i ride the dunes alot and see alot of drag yfz's and you look at them they either have the ron woods intake or the ESR, the esr has more of a kink in it the ron woods is a gradual bend. the fci looks good but nah! i dont like the plastic look anyways
