I recently purchased a Comet 94c for my '85 Odyssey and I'm interested in any tuning info for the clutch. I like the speed at which it engages but I want to make it hold to a higher RPM before shifting up. As I understand the theory, I would keep the number of stock weights and go with a stiffer spring. Does this sound right? I gained most of my information from reading the Polaris owner’s forum’s posts on clutches. Are they similar?

Eric, I'm not familiar with the Comet clutches, but that does sound about right. Lighter weights will also help you get to the shift out quicker.

Check out ATV Racing out of Phoenix, at www.inficad.com/~ATV/
They are a great resource for Oddessy and Pilot info.
