Polishing
#2
I use Mother's to polish my motor, wheels, and some other small aluminum parts on my 250R. Remember, before you polish you must sand the surface smooth. I usually start out wet sanding with 400 grit sand paper, then go to 800 grit, then 1500 grit, then polish with Mother's. If it's been a while since I repolished something I will wet sand with 1500 grit sand paper then polish with Mother's. Hope this helped and good luck.

sanding is a major part in polishing. Also get a bench grinder and go to home depot and get DICO buffing wheels and 3 compounds for the wheels. These work great and make things look like chrome. Rear the back of the dico compounds to make sure you get the correct one.
