I'm running my 250R on alcohol right now. I was wondering if it is possible to run it on nitro methane? I know that this stuff makes a lot of power. If anyone has any information on this stuff, please let me know. Thanks

I run nitro methane in my r/c car. sure, it's only 3.5 cc but it puts out almost 1 hp-alot for an engine smaller than your hand. I don't know how you could do it on a quad or if it is safe, but if you find a way I hope you're rich. that stuff costs me $5 a quart!

 

From what I have learned you can run nitro at 20%or less mixed with alcohol but you have to run your main jet size up some and also retard timing some.I dont know how much but if your serious I can find out.

if you are interested in making more power than alcohol adds i'd recommend contacting the people at Klotz, they make a few different additives (including nitro) to boost hp.
