So I've heard a lot of praise about this product and would like to use it on both my 4 stroke and (oil injected) 2 stroke. What is the best practice for using this stuff? Do I use the the whole bottle? If not how many oz per gallon and do I just pour it in the tank and ride like normal? Thank-you...

 

i use it in both my 2 stroke atvs one is oil injected and the other premix as well as the boat motor i just pour a lil bit in the tank when i fill them up for maintainence never measured it though the more you use the better it works and the more it smokes

 

An ounce of sea-foam for a gallon of gas would be a good point to start from. For me that's half a cup for a tankful.

 

Im pretty sure, like jumbofrank says, that I have read 1 oz. foam per every gallon of gas.

 

So I can still ride it after I pour it in right?

 

Just pour it in and fill the tank with fresh gas and ride it like usual.

 

to clean use an average of 2 ounces per gallon, 1oz per gallon to maintain. You can also use a spray bottle and introduce through the air intake to fog the engine. it also works to dump a little into the spark plug hole and crank the engine a little then let it sit and soak for about 5 minutes. When you actually start the motor after that it should clean the combustion chamber of any left behind carbon.

I use this stuff in all four of my ATV's and on the 150hp Evinrude hanging on the back of my Ranger Bass boat. It costs money but works great. Always watch for the sales of this item and buy in bulk

 

I always use Seafoam on all cars. There two kinds, liquid to pour down the tank or the spray to inject via the throttle.

Buy them depending on use, liquid helps remove any water on system line, humidity etc, and keep everything clean, sensor friendly. The spray for the carb, throttle cleans the manifold, and straight shot to the valves. I usually use the spray, let it stand for about 15 minutes to soften any gum build up on valves, top of cylinder etc, and then crank the engine. It will smoke and may need a buddy to assist on throttle while pouring contents.

Do not be afraid to use, it is very sensor friendly. I use them to before taking cars for emissions, tends to lower the numbers.
