Default To sleeve or not to sleeve

Long story short: Blowed up 250R - skirt broke off, piston destroyed, etc etc.

Since the cylinder was ported pretty nice, I'm trying to determine if resleeving is a better option than looking on ebay to buy a new to me cylinder that perhaps isn't ported.

What should I expect to pay if I were to get my current cylinder resleeved?

Even if you are getting it resleeved, it will still need to be "match ported."

If you got the cylinder off of ebay you would still have to have it bored to a new piston.

Ebay cylinders can be had for under $250 - add another $125 or so for a piston kit.

How much does resleeving and match porting usually cost?
