I was sitting in study hall today at skewl doing nothing... and I had a great idea... The idea is to turn my 2001 Honda Recon into the sweetest pitbike known to man. The plans are to add an FMF Megamax Exhaust, Hoosier Flat Track tires on douglas wheels, a lowering kit ( I doubt I'll need this after I add the tires but maybe...) some cheap ole aluminum handlebars then put a renthal pad on em hehe, removed the racks, trim the fenders, fabricate some nerf bars with my buddies handy dandy pipe bender and welder, Moose Handguards, Chrome every thing on it thats chromeable, and remove the entire electrical system. Now, many of you would probably ask why? Well there are 3 reasons... 1. For the fun of building it. 2. For all the girls to stare at me and my recon while cruising the pits . and 3. well I cant think of a 3rd one... but anyways... does this seem possible? Price isnt really a problem since this will be a strung out project. And I dont want to mod the engine except for the pipe cause I want this thing to be all show and no go. If I wanted show AND go I'd ride my 250R...

 

I have done this > i put a supertrapp exhaust 300ex shocks with home made lowering kit douglas rims REAL RENTHALS cut the plastic got rid of the lights , racks , mudflaps , added jet kit 18" tires up front 16" in the rear . didnt do the chrome thing but It looks even cooler if you leave the plastic alone with the little tires mine would wheelie like crazy but it only did about 25mph cause of the tires I also ported and polished the motor + bored it out to a 300 strengthened up the clutch . it was phat
