I just got my PEP dampener in for my 400ex....I have to say, i was excited to get it, but now im so angry with the engineers of this thing i just want to trash the piece of junk....this thing is so awkward and nearly impossible to get on right...i can get it to clear my oil dip stick, but it hits my oil radiator....when i finally get it lined up, tighten down on it like there is no tommorrow, it creeps and rolls on me, which ends up letting it hit my radiator, im sitting here thinking, what the heck were these guys thinking when they designed this garbage for motorcross? there is no way it will stay in place taking a beating on a motorcross track....bottom line, i feel its another poorly engineered product like so many parts out there these days...and PEP if you guys read this, i would fire all your design engineers, and start over..

I saw a 400 with a steering stabilixer like the one you are describing. He cut part of the dip stick cap down a little to clear the stabilizer.

Lurch, I agree with Pam, Powroll WILL do the work, if the parts are available.

Rocky Mountain is NOT to blame for the leaky tires.. ITP had bad molds, and made the tires wrong. Call ITP, not RM.

I've had good luck with all the companies I have ordered from, except Moto-man.com They sent me 400EX nerfs, 2 weeks late. I called them AT LEAST 10 times.. EVERY time they'd say.. well, on our reciept, it says you ordered 400ex nerfs w/red nets.. I ordered Banshee nerfs, and had the reciept to prove it! After the 10 long distance phone calls, and many potty words, they FINALLY sent me the right nerfs. I lost out on around 5 races because I didn't have any nerfs! I had given up on them, and started trying to sell them instead of send them back. OH yeah, plus, i had to pay to have those pos's shipped back!

Magic Racing-did me really good. I ordered chains and sprockets from them.. They will stay on the phone with you, and try to answer any questions you have! Plus, they even called me back to tell me what gearing they thought i should run!

Rocky Mountain- Great Company.. No complaints!

East Coast- very helpful, they know what racers want, and what racers need, and they're not afraid to tell you the difference!

K&K ATV- GREAT company.. They sent me white numbers instead of black.. but white look better anyways!

Extreme Outfitters- I know most of you have never heard of them, but I ordered my Works from them! The guy that owns it, is really fun to talk to. He stayed on the phone with me for at least 2 hours, telling me all the different shock options I had, and he gave me some of his own experiences..He explained the advantages of threaded preloads, and suggested that I spend the extra money to get them, and boy was he right!

crhye250R.. why'd you block me on MSN man?? What i told you was a joke man.. I wasn't serious!!

Well, here are my goods and bads:

Sidewinder - The guy is very helpful and is willing to explain everything to you. Product arrived on time and is of good quality. I ordered the Pro MX Gold chain.

Magic Racing - Nothing ut bad experiences with them. They always had parts in stock, and good priced, but the salesmen were always rude to me. I didn't know a whole lot at first and they acted like I should know anything and it was a waste of their time to help me out. I will never go there again.

Ronnies Mail Order - Always on time with shipping and good prices too. I would highly recommend.

Lonestar - I haven't bought anything from them yet, but called and requested a catalog. He explained to me many things about the YZ426 rolling chassis and was helpful. I am looking forward to buying products from them.

Thats really about it. The rest of the stuff I get is from MCR II, my local MX shop and sponsor. They always can get me what I need very cheap.

Is anyone else out there running a Renthal R-3 Gold 520 O-Ring chain? I love it! If I would've gotten a sidewinder sprocket, instead of Renthal sprocket, I probably wouldn't have to replace it for a few years. The Renthal doesn't stretch. My sprockets are worn, and now i need a new chain adjuster bolt.. so i can TRY to tighten my shee's chain.. Well, I'm gonna go play with my K&N recharger.. later
