I plan on putting a crf450 engine in my 400ex. Whats the cost of the engine? does anyone now? and i heard the best way for a rad is a Lt250r rad because it fits in behind the steering stem. Does any body now anyting that could help me? I would also consider a 426 but I don't think you can buy those engines.

 

I don't know about the cost but a radiator is no big deal. You can mount those almost anywhere you want. It all just depends on your personal preferance.

 

We had East Coast ATV do our conversion. We had to buy the bike to get everything we needed. The bike was $5100 and ECATV was $2200. Drove it away. The thing is insane. It is a trick to get started. If you stall it on the track, figure 20 seconds to get it going. Thats one dandy of a lead one needs!! We put a YZF426 in our Lonestar EX frame.
