I had my tranny race cut by MRE then Chyro treated by K.P. Cryogenics
So far no more problems

The Chyro treatment really works! Only $80 bucks to do the tranny including forks, drum & shafts

Dang, I thought the Cryo treatment was what 400ex owners who bought one just before the Z-400 came out had to go through!

Good one bobcatv8. We have used the cryo on chains and sprockets. It works well.

Its the hot thing in the world of golf long drive events for the clubheads. I know its been around in the hot rod scene for a while for pistons, rods, cranks, and stuff like that also.

A few yrs back I had the banshee engine cryo while in the process rebuilting then a few month later after I got the bike back from the shop. I ASSUME there were oil in since they work on it. Went down to the dune and rode it HARD for 30 min till it froze the 4 and 5 gear lock. I am sure it did the job not having other gears go out or whatever.
The shop did repair the damage what they forgot to add the oil. Any time the bike back from the shop for any reason I will MAKE sure there is oil in it. Learn my lesson for sure.

I would cryo anything, even later on when my raptor go into overhaul, I will do it and it well worth it.

Also when you do the cryo on any parts, throw a few spark plugs with it. I have been told it last longer and better burning.

There is also a sonic type treatment. They bolt the parts to a table and than have a transducer cycle the parts until the harmonics go out of them. Same effect though, the metal stucture of the parts are changed.
