Whats better 5 speed or 6 speed?

It depends on the gear ratio.The 6 speeds 1st gear could be lower than the 5's,all else being equal the 6 sp would accelerate quicker,but they'd have same topend.Or they could be eqaul all the way thru the gears and the 6sp could still have 1 more upshift.
