About what I thought it would look like. Just couldn't figure out the shifting mechanism until you posted the pics
Probably did cost a couple hundred or more! Looks good! OPT

Here it is finished up. Had to mod the shifter to clear the handle bars and make it so that my son could hug the tank when he rode. I think it looks good, it works great, and we can't see where it has lost any power to the planetary.

I looked twice, did not see a thing. Wish I knew where it was made. If I had it to do over again, I would have cut the mount and redrilled the holes so that it would ride lower, but it is not in the way as it is now. I took the shifter handle and put it in the vice and put some curve in it to follow the contour of the plastics. I then took and bent the mount toward the toward the tank, and I can it it is how it's going to be for the present... My son thinks the quad has more top end. If that is the case, then the sprocket must have had an extra tooth.
OPT quick question... WHEN I AM ON IT (just to test, don't make it a habit to ride the little ones) it feels like the rear end is slipping. I am quessing that would be the splines on the drive shaft? Thanks... it has no problem with my son on it...

When I would sometimes put my big butt on em a lot of times I would feel teeth jump on the sprockets!
Check the chain tension, may have to tighten the chain, plus check the swing arm bolts. OPT
