Hi i have a 94 300 2x4 just getting it back together new piston low & high is ok when i put in reverse it kills eng Thanks

 

Pull the tank cover and the left side panel to reveal the circuit board. Pull the black wire at the top of the circuit board from the reverse limiter module then it shouldn't die.You will have eliminated the shorted out limiter module and will have full power in reverse now without having to push the over ride button. Only a few black wires on the board,limiter module,cdi kill wire,etc.Common problem for this to happen. OPT
