Replacing ignition kit on a 2003 Polaris Sportsman, replace the fly wheel?

Replacing ignition kit on a 2003 Polaris Sportsman, replace the fly wheel?
I'm replacing the ignition kit on my `03 Polaris Sportsman and I was told I needed to replace my fly wheel as well then I was told I don't have to, which is it? Will the existing fly wheel work? Everything else has been replaced, coil, CSI, etc. Can someone please hell me with this, thanks! Any help will be greatly appreciated!

What model?? If it's the 700 ignition updated kit, the flywheel comes with the new kit. If you're just replacing the stator on any other model the flywheel can be reused. OPT

I have a Sportsman 600 and I just purchased the ignition lit (Stator), but I was just wondering if I had to replace the fly wheel as well our will the old fly wheel work with the new stator?

The Kokusan kit (2202603) should have the new flywheel! Replaces the old Ducati flywheel that won't work on the Kokusan ignition system. Look here at kit contents.http://www.cheapcycleparts.com/produ...s-kit-ignition
