ok so im ordering the wiseco 73.00 MM piston for the boss and i need the following parts,
piston
rings
wrist pin bearing
piston pin (wrist pin?)
piston pin clips
head gasket
base gasket
im gonna order the piston "kit" as shown here PK1086 Product Detail Information - Wiseco Piston Inc.
does that have all the required parts or am i missing something??? if so what is it?? thanks!

Click on "item contents" shows all the parts included in the kit. Does show to have all parts needed(piston,rings,clips,upper bearing,piston pin) and includes head and base gaskets. OPT

also i called mrcrankshaft about the rust on the counter weights and he said that itd be a waste of a topend to put a top end on with rust on the crank. is this true? should i send it to him for 210 bucks???

You are taking a chance that the bottom end rod bearing/crank bearings will last. If they don't they can take out a brand new top end and that money is down the drain! At the shop I would not warranty a top end only because I had a couple that came back on me for this reason! Most shops wont either! A new rod kit ,crank bearings and seals along with a fresh top end,then this engine should last for years. This is up to you. Just like I told my customers. Mr Crankshaft is being honest with you! OPT
