Hey guys,
Recently took a trip to busco beach, a local trail/ mud riding attraction. After the first puddle of mud the bike lost power. From a stand still in about an inch of mud, you could trottle all the way up. Not only would the bike not spin tires, but would take a good bit of time to build up speed. After about a hour of riding the bike sputtered and cut off. When cut back on, the bike would cut off everytime you tried to move. The fuel filter was pulled off ad all the fuel was pumped out. Fuel filter was cleaned out and new fuel added. No change. Any ideas?

Welcome! First thing I'd do is pull all the connectors, especially the map sensor and tps sensor harness connectors and blow out the connections and use dielectric grease.Plus may not be related to the problem, but if you have a fuel pressure gauge, you can eliminate a weak fuel pump as a problem. Must hold 39psi without any leak down.Plus doesn't help to have the control module right in the front of the atv that could get water contaminated. If cleaning and greasing all the connections doesn't help I'd check for any bare/soft wires on the map sensor harness along with the tps harness wiring.Plus look at the "sticky" section above on efi problem areas with harness wiring and connectors.
