Default Polaris 500 front wheel drive yoke

Heard a loud mechanical bang, later discovered that the pinned yoke was missing. Everything else was still there. The splined end at the gearbox was bare except for the pin that holds the yoke in place. Can't imagine what happened. The left front wheel drive still works. My question, since the left wheel still operates, does that mean that the right side of the drive only needs a new yoke or new assembly to work again?

Any thought as to what could have caused this to happen?

Thanks for your input.

New drive shaft! More than likely the shaft yoke is bent now and I wouldn't take a chance on just getting the other yoke. The front yoke and bearing kit would cost around $100 just for these items and you may still have to end up getting a complete shaft anyway.. Anything could have caused it to break. Wear, bad casting, worn u-joints,take your pick! I've has this happen also.
