polaris wont start

hi again o.p.t
I still havent got a chance to borrow a compression tester yet.But im still having the same problem i mentioned before with the carburator, when cranking it over its shooting raw gas into the cylinder and soaking the plug. If you crank it over while putting your hand over the air intake to see if there is good suction it soaks your hand in gas.I think this is what happened in the fall when it back fired , raw gas in the exhaust ignited. One thing i failed to mention before is the bike has only been driven about 20 times since the piston and rings were put in.So im hoping compression is still good. I will still check the compression but i seem to have carb problems to deal with first. ive had the carb off a few times since my last post and its spotless inside, and all passages are clear. so any ideas as to why carb isnt mixing gas and air properly.
and thx for all your help so far
