Having a vacuum issue with fuel pump and was wondering if I could bypass the pump and run line from shut off to carb directly? Thank you for any help.

You can do it,but after a certain level it may be hard to get the fuel to flow properly to the carb. The carb is higher than the lowest level of the fuel tank, the main reason a fuel pump is installed in the first place.Parts to rebuild or even replace it are not that expensive, plus could be just dirt/trash in the pump, fuel selector valve problems,or even the fuel filter.
