Odd Issue on my 06 Sportsman 500EFI
#11
Stator changed out and the bike runs again!
Also took the time to check the valves and happy to report that after 283hours of service (with a good deal of that in plowing snow) the valves were all on spec.
All I require to fix on the quad now is the outter left tie-rod end is sloppy. Everything else is peachy.
I do have to say though, that after riding my new Can-Am 650, the old sportsman feels like it's tied on to something big n heavy!! That and the lack of power steering .. are there kits for that I wonder? Hmmmm ....
Thanks again for the help, particularly the links for the service manuals. Invaluable!!
