Looked at a few other models that use the same part. Then looked on ebay to see if maybe they listed it by name and not number.

No luck there.

It does take the same one as my old 2001 trail boss. So if the other part doesn't fit, you may check a few scrap yards to see if they might have one stuck in a bad motor.

 

Shouldn't be a problem as the castings on the 325/330 were basically the same.Seems like to me even the 325 when you dumped 2 quarts in,let it run awhile,then checked it when it cooled down,the oil level was a little over the second mark anyway. Just see where the 2 quarts end up on the 330 dipstick.I'm like the dealer,should fit even with the different part number.

 

the part is for about 15 different machines so it is very odd to me that there isn't a new superseded part. Oh well, hopefully the part for the 330 will fit...

 

If it fits the 325 like listed,don't think you'll have a problem.

The part fits!!!The dip stick is a little longer but the threads match and it is not too long where it won't tighten. I think I finally have the machine where it needs to be.

Sad news is that my daughter broke her pinkie finger and is in a cast so she can't grab the handle bars....She was only able to drive it once through the neighborhood....Sometimes I wonder if I'm being tested...LOL
