I'm trying to replace my rear axles due to a bad CV joint. When I was removing the first one the half shaft popped off leaving the CV joint stuck in the rear differential. Does anyone have a trick for popping it out??

I'm gonna let is soak in PB overnight and see if it is any better tomorrow.

 

Most newer models have the internal snap ring that has to be removed to remove the shaft. Here's a good video on this.
