Question 2004 Polaris Brake light issue

I am trying to find out what activates the rear brake on a 2004 Polaris 500 HO. I get the bulb on with head lights but it doesnt activate when you pull the break thus not lighting the bulb to indicate the brakes are on. I have checked the bulb abd replaced it just to make sure, the contact point are good and clean and it has a fresh battery. All other lighting works as it should. Any help would be great. I understand it may be associated with the brake block that transfers fluid to the front and rear disk?

Welcome to the forums.

Is it working when you use the foot pedal?

Looking for the wiring diagram now, but also leaving for the day shortly. May be tomorrow before I can post it, if someone else doesn't first.

Finding a free, readable diagram seems to be close to impossible.

I've seen full service manuals you can download online from 5 to 25 dollars. A really good investment.

I have it narrowed down to the wiring to the pressure relay located on the distribution block for the brakes which is located behind the head light. It would seem to be part number 2 in the picture. https://www.partzilla.com/catalog/po...ar-as-at-av-aw
