Default 1997 Trailblazer 250 ES rear axle offset?

I am restoring a beat up 97 Polaris Trailblazer 2x4 as a winter project. I was about to do a front wheel alignment but noticed the rear axle and right rear wheel is offset. By that I mean the right rear wheel is 1/4 inch closer to the right foot rest and right front wheel. The quad frame and rear axle do not appear to be bent and the swing arm shoulder bolts and such all line up accordingly. With the right rear side wheel base being a 1/4 inch shorter than the left side one would think the quad would dog track as you are driving down the road.
Is this normal???
