04.5 500 SP rear wheel play
#1
Folks,
While having the machine lifted in the rear, I noticed that each rear wheel had some lateral play, maybe .25 to .5 inches. Is this normal? If not, any ideas? It seemed that the left rear had a tad more play than the right.
Thanks.

does the bike have an axle or IRS?
if an axle does the whole axle move or just the wheel. try tighting up the castle nut.
if IRS does the a-arms move or just the wheel. if the wheel then you need to either tighten to bearings up or if its the a-arms then they either need new bushings or a good greasing
