Bent axle question

I have an '89 Trailboss 250 with a slightly bent right rear axle. Bought the unit used from a farmer who claims he's driven the unit with the bent axle for years. The tires definately haven't been changed in years!
I've had the quad on the trails in SW Missouri 3 times now and other than a slight visual wobble in the right rear tire, I do not notice any sort of problem or feel the wobble per se. No handling issues either...
Should I be worried? Is it difficult to change a rear axle on this unit? Cost? I do have a shop manual to refer to if need be.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

If all you can see is a slight wobble on the wheel, it might only be a bent rim or wobbly hub. Jack up the rear end so you can run it about 10 MPH or so & look at the axle. As long as the wheel only wobbles & doesn't bobble up & down, don't worry about it. I likely wouldn't worry about it anyway, if it isn't bent enough to feel while driving & has been that way for a while.
