2002 Polaris xpedition temp light and fan on all the time
#1
Hi All. I have a 2002 Polaris xpedition. 325. I had it all serviced ready to go. For spring. Drove it a bit than parked it for winter. Only thing I needed was a new battery. So this spring. I started it with the pull rope. I noticed that the neutral light started off dim and then got brighter and brighter than died. So I limped it to the garage and looked into it. I found out that the regulator was shot. Probably shorted out when the old battery shorted probably, froze. So I tested the amps and it ran well past 14.6 When revved up. So I noticed that the temp light and fan runs constantly now when the key is on. I replaced the regulator. The amps are at 14.8. Constant when revved up.
