07 Sportsman X2 800 craps under load
#1
I have an 07 Polaris Sportsman 800 X2 that pops and stalls intermittently under load. I have replaced TBAP sensor and harness, replaced and set TPS sensor and harness, replaced ignition coils. One thing I noticed when replacing the TPS, in the service manual the wiring schematic shows pin 8 orange and pin 18 green on the sensor. On my machine these were reversed! When I installed the new TPS following the diagram, the machine would not run at all. When I reversed the orange and green wire, the machine runs but I experience intermittent break up, popping and loss of power under load. I set the TPS up with one of those TPS testers with the meter and internal battery and noticed the wiring difference there too. Mighty strange that the wiring harness differs from the schematic in the service manual... There are no blink codes. Looking for advice..
