Default Just put deposit down on rzr......now here is my problem

Just left dealer very happy, when I got home I measured my trailer ....and guess what....will not fit, opening to trailer is 64" and height of rzr 69" any idea's? Does the roll cage come apart easily? Or maybe remove air from rear tires? Any thought would be appreciated..

Probabey the easiest thing you could do to lower it 5" is to remove the shocks and put some kind of spacer in there in place of the shock when loading it into your trailer. I know this is how some of the quads come shiped to the dealer from the factory (makes the crate lower). I have just never seen them driven like that.

Just a thought.

You should gain a few inch's from the angle of the ramp. The rear of the roll cage should have cleared the door by the time the tires come over. You could also deflate your rear tires for a little more clearance.

I bet you'll be alot closer to fitting than the 5 inches you are measuring.

Good Luck,
Brian

Try backing it in, might work. I just got a greenie one on Saturday, I am going to have to get a 16' tandem trailer for all of our toys.

The highest point is at the back of the roll cage ( to give room for your helmet ).

The shock swap seems to me to be a lot of work.......I would try letting a lot of the air out of your tires to lower it first.

That would be the easiest in my oppinion. Give it a try and let us know.

If that doesn't work, try putting two really fat people in it to compress the suspension a little more. ha ha

Good luck.

The Dealer installed it for me Gould62,

They installed any accessory that purchased at the time I bought it for FREE......so I bought it.

From what I understand the the RZR does NOT come pre-wired like the Sportsman's do. I'm not sure why though.

Thanks GregV. The dealer (well the dealer and me) put the bumpers, and windshield on, but for the discounted price, he wouldn't put it on......no bid deal, took him ~1.5 hours to put the front and rear bumper on, no telling how long it would take for the winch.
