Default buying used a RZR

A good friend of mine is friends with the owner of a powersport auction house. I have the chance to buy a used RZR before the auction. I can view all the RZR's before the auction, and if I find one I want, pay the expected price which is about $6000 for an 08-09.
My question is what do I look for? I know there were dust issues on early RZR's, and I'm not sure I can pull the bike apart to look in the throttle body. Any pointers would be helpful.
Thanks

Reno...You should definitely look down the TB for dirt if you can get a few minutes with and have some "alone time". Not sure if that wil be possible. At least look for signs that somebody has been wrenching around in that area. Also look for any major impacts on the underside of the frame where the steel may have been impacted and crushed (drastic frame strength reduction when it's kinked) Other than that the prices you're quotes are a freakin' steal. Even with dirt ingested, for that price you could go with a big bore kit and the machine would be smokin' fast.

Where did these things come from and is the auction online or machines available to view? Almost worth shipping one to Maine for 6K. Go with an '09 from I can tell by my research.

Thanks Jim.
This is a dealer only auction, the bikes are repo's and trade In's, sort of like a car auction. My buddy is a dealer (not in atv's) and knows the guy running the auction so they are allowing me to go in ahead of the auction and pay the expected price. I went last auction and they had 7 RZR's, some fixed up pretty nice, even had rear seats and roll cage. The nicest went for $6800. They grade each vehicle from 1-100, most being about 80, I'm just not sure if the grading is by a knowledgeable mechanic or just by looks.
