Since cranking up the Walker Evans shocks on my 09 standard been wanting to go with bigger tires than the 27" zillas (awesome year 'round tire btw) I'm currently running. Been doing a lot of looking and just couldn't keep my eyes off the black mambas. Then I see a thread on here about the new STI HD beadlocks at an awesome price and start looking at them. After a few weeks of weighing my options I just pulled the pin on the beadlocks with the slik kote finish (going back to 12" since a lot of opinions are they are a better ride than 14"), 30" mambas, and SuperATV forward a-arms. Counting the seconds until the UPS driver shows up Would have loved to opt for lifting it 6" (currently 3") but with the trail width restrictions here in MN I wouldn't have been able to get it past the barriers on my riding areas with the added width.

Finally got everything on and trail tested. Had to add 1.5" spacers also. These tires are phenominal-worth every penny!

 

I don't know. Not sure if there is enough tread depth on those tires... Looks nice and mean now.
