Sounds like you definitely need to be looking elsewhere for the problem. If you done all that and it still doesnt read more, there must almost certainly be a crank seal problem or something like that. NC, you went from DJ man to hit man.LOL

Default little compression after rebuild

I plan to build a test fixture to pull a vacum on the case and see if it leaks down. What do you guys typically use to seal the case halves?

Pita, go down to your local Honda shop and buy a tube of Hondabond. That is all you need for the case halves. There is another product called threebond which looks and acts the same as Hondabond. I know guys that use that as well. Good luck on the motor.

I went to Napa and got some Loctite equivalent anaerobic gasket maker. Works well and doesn't harden so if you get too much, it will go inside the cases and not stop anything up.
