Why would I waste my time with you on the phone? I was willing to let this die, but you just keep going, and going. Go back to your clubhouse, but feel free to monitor this forum. There's lot's of people on here who have a clue and are constructively learning from each other.

While I live near SBS and drive by it several times a week, know many of the people who have worked there in the past. I have dealt with them very little over the years before the got KTM and Polaris. I can say that I know more unhappy customers than happy ones. Mostly from repairs that went way over the estimate and the owner was never contacted before the "extra" work was done. I know of several people that this has happened to, so I assume it is common practice for them. I know of several that like me that will not due business with them. When SBS came out with the KTM engine kit that got them into several mags and then the airfarce kit. My first thought was man there is going to be many unhappy people out there. Not that the products are bad, because I have never used any of them. Just that there are sooooo many local guys that have had bad experiences with them. Once they started an internet and mail order business, there would be several more. I just feel sorry for the ones that don't know any better and get screwed.

All I can say here, from being in sales myself, is that the worst thing to do is bash your competition. that will drive more business to them. 'specially when you can't show facts or numbers to show why you're better. rob, i understand why you're pissed. one of the predators that i work on pops. it's the most goddam fustrating thing i've had to deal with on a quad yet. however, comes in handy when both of them start in on the craptor talk.. That's a good one...the popping does cover up the noise the Raptor makes.

Make no mistake, I loved the Predator! I just couldn't deal with the loss of power when it began popping!

Gary, please step in and let me know what you are thinking!

If you do, all of this silliness will stop!

Rob
