I think your too used to the Banshee, I've had my Scrambler for a little more than a year now, I bought it used. I have since had the clutch replaced, they said it was because I was either pulling things or going to slow up the hill with no low gear. Anyway as soon as I got the new cluch it ran great. Wheelie no problem, and tops out at about 60 or so. I still don't think it's a banshee though.

The loads I'm towing with the thing is minimal. Like what was said, It's no different than having a 300 pounder on it trying to climb to the moon. Maybe I'll have my brother in law ride it once and see what he thinks. He use to have one. He should be able to tell me if thats all she's got. I will be looking into the clutches on Saturday just to see if anything wrong jumps out at me. Like the belt being on backwards. I still can't believe I didn't check that when I had the cover off. I should stay off my Banshee for awhile and just get use to riding this thing around so I'll be able to tell whats right and wrong.

If it doesn't seem to be backshifting properly, check the rear clutch buttons, as well as the rear clutch bushings where the movable shive slides against the stationary one. I had the Teflon wear off one of my bushings on my 400 Xplorer, and it had the exaxt same sypmtoms you describe. New bushings & buttons cured it for about $30 plus an hour's worth of work.
To fix that weakness forever, install a roller secondary.

Thanks for the heads up. I look at buttons and bushings. It probably isn't back shifting well enough as suggested. The wife doesn't notice things like that but I can. I can here it already, Why are you ripping apart my four wheeler? Leave it alone, It's mine.
