We have a guy who rides with us who has a pred, him and my dad race (dad has raptor) and dad wins most of time. Well we were riding today locally and there was a new YFZ 450 there and there is a drag strip out back, Well the 450 kept up with the raptor so im pretty sure the Pred will have a little competition. The guy said he was running with his airbox lid off cant wait to see these things with the K&N aftermarket exhaust and all the other mods.

 

TJ, did he/she have much break-in time on the 450 yet? This is gonna be a fun summer. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

From the articles I've read on the 450, it's not considered a sport quad. They are bringing it out as a strickly racing quad.

 

I dunno good question about the break in time it seems that they really wouldnt be broken in. I know he blew my warrior away on our small Cross country track and when he hit the jump he flew. I gotta check into one of these. its between rappy and 450 i guess..
