Default Explorer 300?
Just saw an ad for a '96 Explorer 300. Is there such a thing? If so, what motor would that be?

Yep, that would be a 2 stroke 300, similar in design to the newer 250 2 stroke motor.

I've a friend who has one and it's been a good machine, very capable. The performane isn't bad either I have a hard time losing him on my 400.
